Commercial property: A building survey to create a schedule of condition and required repairs

Client: Jewellery Channel.

Site: Boeing Way Southhall, London UB2 – International trading estate

Size: 32,500 sqft of space.

NJC Services carried out a full building survey including measuring and preparing plans for the warehouse unit to provide design layouts for filming studios, office partitioning and stacking facilities.

The client requested a detailed schedule of conditions on the current status of the building to protect them on a short lease and limit any potential dilapidation claim. Our role extended to liaising and agreeing on essential repair works and costs with the landlord’s agents during the occupation process.

A successful outcome for both parties, allowing the client to continue their operations, with protection and without any major delays.
