Full building survey and report on a traditional terraced brick built residential property.

Details
The property is a two storey mid terrace Victorian property built circa 1875 with rendered solid brick walls and a traditional pitched roof and a single storey extension to the rear.

Our Role
NJC were commissioned to survey the property and also look at the potential of refurbishing and extending the rear extension up to the 1st floor level to provide additional living accommodation. Internal proposals were to include re-positioning of the staircase, converting the rear bedroom into the new bathroom and removing the downstairs bathroom. The new extension to the rear would provide a new second bedroom at 1st floor level. Budget costs were also provided for the client to consider.
